It is a massive problem that you can't read files directly from the camera using a cable. It is wifi only and you need the app. The only slight work around is the quick reader which is another £45.99 and is sold out. Really this is a scam because working without it is not good.

Anyone have issues with overheating? I’m new to the GP family, used it twice and can’t get it to record for more then 20 minutes at a time before it over heats. I’m in Florida, yes it’s hot.

Your video is very misleading because the new 4K model Files are so large and it requires so much compressing of the file when recording that the battery overheats in the unit shuts off. Additionally you’ll only get a 15 minute video before the battery is dead if it doesn’t overheat. And a 15 minute clip can be as large as 4 GB. When you use the application and download it to your phone it takes forever. And if it’s running on it’s on battery power you can forget about using the camera when you’re done transferring the file. You have to wait for the camera to cool down before returning it to its home base unit to be recharged Which takes additional time. GoPro is the very best; smaller files, better audio/ video, and it does not overheat and shut off while it use!!!!!!

Hi Jake, I have tested FreeFrame shooting on Go3 & Go3s at the same time while they are both attached to the slightly angled shoulder strap of my sling bag. With my Go3 I always get in-camera levelling in Freeframe mode because it shoots a sphere. However, i notice the Go3S is not a sphere so there is no auto natural levelling. Am i mistaken or not doing something set right so that i can achieve a non-crooked video with my Go3s? I am not even rotating my Go3s, yet all the Go3S footage is titled during my test shooting. I am not a skilled tech reviewer, so i wanted to come to you for help. i have not seen any UA-camrs show a FreeFrame comparison between these two cameras? Again, i hope I am doing something wrong in my settings or testing. How do i get my Go3s' footage to stay constantly level like the Go3?? Lastly, i don't wear it as much as i attach it to my camera bag strap. Otherwise the strap will knock it off my body if i were to use the chest magnet necklace mount.

i just recently got my max 360 and it is telling me that the GoPro editor for windows for the max 360 in no longer available. i want to be able to edit my ride videos especially in case of being involved in an accident.
